Sundays...

God Is Not Seeking Worship!

Jesus says that God is seeking worshipers. Specifically, he seeks those who would worship him in "spirit and truth". (John 4:23) At Willow Drive Baptist Church we desire to worship God in spirit and truth.

Our worship is "Spirit-Led". We rely on the power and direction of the Holy Spirit in our worship. Our worship is also truthful. We encourage worshippers to engage in honest expressions of love for our Creator, God Almighty. Finally, our worship is Christ- centered. We focus on lifting up the good news that you can have a personal relationship with God's son.

Sundays at 8:30 AM - A Blended Worship Celebration

The Blended Worship Celebration at 8:30 AM is an upbeat service in the Evangelical tradition.
It consists of hymns blended with some worship choruses accompanied by piano and organ. Those more accustomed to a "Baptist" worship service would be comfortable with this service.

The Choir, Voices in Praise, ministers once a month in this service. In addition, we try to plan a"gospel-style" service at least once a month.

Sundays at 9:45 AM

Adult Bible Fellowships (ABF)
This is a time for adults to meet others and study the Word of God together. ABF’s are also a great way to get “plugged in” to the church body.

Youth Bible Fellowships (YBF)
This is a time for young people, 7th grade through 12th grade, to come together in fellowship. The primary goals are building intimacy with God and relationships with others.

Children's Sunday School
Sunday School is for children from 2 1/2 years through 6th grade. This is a time of fellowship, outreach and discovering who God is!

Sundays at 11:00 AM - A Contemporary Worship Celebration

The Contemporary Worship Celebration at 11:00 AM is an energetic contemporary worship experience. Here the music consists mostly of new music led by one of our worship teams.

In addition to Voices in Praise, our Adult Choir, we have three other Worship Teams that rotate leading worship in this service. These teams of some of the most talented musicians in Southern Brazoria County, include vocalists, piano, keyboard, acoustic, bass, & electric guitars and drums. We also occasionally use brass and other wind instruments.

We express our worship in many different ways in this service. Many people stand, others raise their hands, a few dance and others worship with tambourines. Please feel no pressure to do what others are doing. We encourage you to worship in a manner that is appropriate for you.

Also we have Children's Church every Sunday during the 11:00 AM service, except for 5th Sundays.
