Willow Kids
Willow Kids is our chilrden's ministry here at Willow Drive Baptist Church. We are rooted in God's Word, growing in the fruit and power of the Holy Spirit, and branching out to others.
Sunday School
Sunday morning Sunday School hour: 9:45a.m.-10:45a.m. This is a time of fellowship, outreach, and discovering who God is! For more information contact Louie Parker at 979.297.9199.
We have 4 different age groups:
Kids Ark Pre-school-Kindergarten
Kingdom Builders 1st & 2nd grade
Cross Roads 3rd & 4th grade
Virtual Realities 5th & 6th grade
Children's Church
This is where we present the Gospel to children on their level in a church service atmosphere with praise and worship, object lessons, games, and puppets. This is held every Sunday during the 11:00 AM service. We do not meet on 5th Sundays, for this is time for the family to enjoy church together.
Preschool Children's Church is for ages 4 years through Kindergarten and meet in the Preschool area. For more information contact Donna Crim at 979.265.1715.
Power House is for children 1st throught 6th grade and meet in the Children's building. For more information contact Wendi Moore at 979.480.0481.
Children's Choice
Children’s Choice takes place during Power House. This is for 1st through 6th grade. They meet once a month during the fall, winter, and spring semesters.
Children choose a particular ministry to learn, practice and share. Participants are given opportunities to minister to other children during Power House.
Each semester, participants have the opportunity to choose choices such as puppets, prayer & disciple making, art projects,dancing, and cooking. Each semester choices are subject to change. There are age requirements for some choices. For more information contact Kim Knapp at 979.388.9040.
Kid's Quest and Breakout
These are our midweek discipleship programs. They take place on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00p.m. Both Breakout and Kid’s Quest are designed to help children build relationships with other children and their leaders. The programs begin in September and conclude in March.
Kid’s Quest - is a small group discipleship program for children age 4 through 2nd grade, which takes them on a quest to Discover God’s Word, Discover God’s Plan, Discover God’s Son, and Discover God’s Will. Using Bible Stories, kids will listen, learn, look, and live with safari animals as they complete weekly lessons at home and participate in games, crafts, and stories during their small group time at church. This program not only teaches Bible stories, but also helps them to apply scripture to their lives and prepares them to take the next step into Break Out. Breakout is an intentional small group discipleship program for 3rd through 6th graders that takes children through 4 stages:

Special Events
Pre-Teen Summer Camp
This is a 4 day camp for 4th-6th grade children that usually takes place every summer. This is a time of fellowship and relationship building for the children, as well as the leaders.
Hallelujah Festival
This is our alternative to the traditional trick or treating activities. This is a time of outreach to the community and a way to provide a safe environment for children to have fun.
Kid's Night Out
This is a special night of activities and fun events for children birth to 4th grade held once a quarter. This ministry also provides parents a night out. Check current events for the next planned event. For more information contact Donna Crim at 979.265.1715.
5th & 6th Grade Fellowships

Wee Place - Preschool
18 months -- 4 years
Our preschool program meets from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year. This is a “readiness time” for the children and includes activities that will be directed to meet their physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.
