Deacons

The Deacon ministry of Willow Drive Baptist Church is about prayer, accountability, training, and service. The foundation of the Deacon ministry is set forth in Acts 6:1-7. The Deacons assist our pastor and staff so that they will have more time to minister the Word to our congregation. The Deacons intercede in prayer for our church, are peacekeepers and unifiers, offer fellowship and pastoral care for our widows, and pray for the sick (James 5:14-15).

Our current active Deacons are Brad Crim, Ralph House, Danny Rumsey, David Zavisch, Jeff McQueen, Mark White, and Doug Wright. The Deacons can be contacted through the church office. In addition, the name and home phone number of the Deacon of the week is printed in the church bulletin.
